Jeremy Shum Secret Diaries

Welcome to my world.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

This concludes the last post to the Jeremy Shum Secret Diaries.

Formerly my Engineering Design & Innovation portfolio, I gave this production a bit of a twist, adding a few personalized blog entries!  It’s been a pleasure writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Jeremy Shum

For ease of access, I am including a series of links to what has been designated for “marks“:

The art of writing is an interesting one, and definetely not clientele specific to English.  There are many languages, but I think the English language well expresses what one wishes to state, and it is well versed by many individuals world wide.  Just goes to make us think how many people in this world don’t even have a good education, which hopefully makes you want to feel like changing that.

And we will.

Here were a few of my favorite posts:

I leave with ya’ll one last thought:

If God is on our side, who can be against us.

Romans 8:31 (NIV)

Demi Shum sounds so awesome =)

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

So I’m just trying to think once I marry my future princess, Ms Demi Lovato, about the fact that her name would become Demi Shum LOL!

Awwwhhh, sorry but I am really into writing girls’ first names with my last name when I’m really into them…………………………………….

Okay this is pretty weird lol.

It’s like this girl once said

ewewewewewewewewewee alert

LOL!

Like I have a bit of it on radio

We’re in this awkward and weird marinating moment of extreme weirdness.

It’s tidy town!

How Disney Christians are helping the environment.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus (her great grandpa, EL Cyrus, was a Pentecostal preacher) have teamed together to for Disney’s Project Green.  The aim of the project is to get each person to help the environment, each taking its responsibility.  This is what is known as “social green“.

I was recently talking to a friend of mine, whose a major in politics, and I think the politization of the environment has been very negative.  In particular is in the inference that those on the left care about the environment more than those on the right.  I would almost immediately add that the left is only perceived to care more for the left, because they take a partisan approach to the “balancing act” of environment vs economics; whereas the right take a more bipartisan approach, trying to match the intentions/desires of industry against sustainability.

As an engineer, I know personally that engineers have been involved with the production and commission of energy efficient devices for the last 30 years (if not even more).  This is a lot more effective than what a lot of politicians are doing.  It is time action be taken; rather than statements, and even the signing of protocols.  We have come to an age of pragmatism, rather than philosophy, and it is what you do (not what you think) that counts.

The reality is that each person will need to take account for what they are doing, and ecology sustainability rests beyond what people can do.  Although this will be named “climate change skepticism” by some, the issue of pragmatism prompts us to ask, “what can be done“.  Even IF climate has changed, is it global warming, or is it merely a cyclical phase (sinuisoidal), that will be met with extreme coldness.

What the Disney Christians are doing however, is in a practical manner, very key in impacting and changing our world for the good.

How I am going to shock all this summer.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

The problem when you’re me, is that:

People get to look at me all day, and I only get glimpses…
…LOL! (that was a quote from Hannah Montana)

Anyway, to be totally honest, when you’re a shock jock like me, you can say “been there; done that; got the tee shirt” for a lot of different things.
You see, when I was young, I drew up a “to do” list, and I basically strategically executed everything on that list!

So like I told all earlier, I was inspired from the Phineas & Ferb opening sequence:

  • Building a rocket
  • Fighting a mommy
  • Climbing up the Eiffel tower
  • Discovering something that doesn’t exist
  • Giving a monkey a shower
  • Surfing tidal waves
  • Creating nanobots
  • Locating Frankenstein’s brain
  • Finding a dodo bird
  • Painting a continent
  • Driving your sister insane

So translating that to Jeremy language, this would mean:
(And this will be my 2010 Vision)

  • Developing my educational video series
  • Developing “cool” electronic devices
  • Acing mathematics and physics/chemistry
  • Dating a hot Christian celebrity =)
  • Study medicine (ok maybe this will come later)
  • Graduate law (yay!)
  • Finding a cure for cancer (ok maybe a bit early lol!)

As they Phineas & Ferb

“PHINEAS AND FERB (NOT THEM; JEREMY LOL!) IS GOING TO DO IT ALL WOOOOOOOOPEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Message me if you think I have missed anything out!

UPDATE: PLEASE do not email me “losing your virginity” since this is a very .. well weird lol, thing to say!  Particularly if you’re a girl!  It is NOT very princess like!  But I am a Christian virgin with model looks **makes a stunner Zac Efron look to get the ladies** LOL!

Ok tell me whos hotter:

Peace out suckazzz!!!

If you’re a bit like me, and in radioland, you’ve heard all of the most outrageous sex stories, GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!

This was a passage that a young fourteen year old girl once told me, when I was also a young man, but it was basically the most kinkiest story that I have EVER heard LOL!… and it was… SURPRISE!!! found in the Holy Bible!!!!!

I didn’t actually believe it until I checked it out, but it is found in the Song of Solomons, which is basically a love poem.

It’s a narrative of a girl’s thoughts, some of which can I say is a bit, **coff coff pretty slutty** LOL!  (But obviously in a CHristian way, between a married couple lol).  Anyway, it states:

“When I found the guy my heart longed for, I grabbed him, and did not let him go until he impregnated me at his mom’s place.”

-Song of Solomon 3:4

I KID YOU NOT LOL!

By FAR the most romantic phrase I have ever seen sincerely written from a girl awwwhh lol

Ok now it’s time to find my princess **pouts his mouth**

**tinks about Demi Lovato**

Why I think Walden Media is a great competitor.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

Rarely do I praise competitors, because it’s just not something you do in the area of business.  But one company I have been very impressed with is Walden Media, owned by a Christian oil magnate (Philip Anschutz); managed by Christians who come from the educational sector.  They have co-produced movies with Disney, including Bridge to Terrabithia, and the Narnia series.

The corporate objectives of Walden are actually very similar to Inventco (my company), and it’s one of those companies, that I think will keep Inventco in check for the entirity of its existence.  Capitalized at a lot higher than Inventco, Walden has been at the forefront in some of the greatest movies of all time (in my honest opinion).

One such movie that I was watching recently, was the one with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson, “Around the World in 80 days“.

They are also a very competitive force in terms of encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation in engineering.

Good job, Walden!

The future of cartooning.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

I’m not talking about simply cartoons, but actualy animation.  Disney recently acquired PIXAR in a strategic move to gain market share in a rapidly shrinking market position.  I do believe that the acquisition was not needed, and I don’t think it was a market growth strategy.  It was more, like, a technology acquisition one.  There are patents, probably, held by PIXAR, that Disney would have wanted.  And you can see the different output effects in the movie quality (difference) of Disney vs Pixar.

As an engineer, I’m really interested in where the industry is going.  Particularly for me, specializing in the area of optics, I have been very interested in the possibilities of alternative ways of development.  CurrentUirkly, animation involves a long-lived process of designing a cartoon from pen, scanning this into the computer, reanimating the picture using computerized color; and then drawing tweens, which show the rapid transition between frames (sometimes done by computers, sometimes done by hand).

What would the world be like, however, if the process of image development was different.  Bill Gates once envisioned development by the “speed of thought“.  What if you could control image development using your fingers?  If computers did the development using auto-colorization; auto-contrasting; auto-pixellation; automation right throughout the developmental process?  Microsoft Surface, soon-to-be-commercial is coming out soon, and software developers will soon be using tools that allow users to ubiquitiously act and react with computing tools on any… surface.  This should transform the cartooning industry, and will be an interesting development, particularly as computing power increases, with Intel’s new release of the Core i7.

I just don’t get the left handed debate.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

There are some pretty famous people out there who are lefted, even e.g. Destiny Cyrus (aka Miley Cyrus).  But it still bewilds me why there even is a debate about left handed vs right handed!

When Miles started writing, her dad (the famous Achy Breaky Heart, Billy Ray Cyrus) was convinced she was right handed, so thus she was taught to write right-handed in ENglish.  Most recently, she has been reading a Chinese caligraphy book which is teaching her to write in Chinese (muahahaha, I have no connection to that lol, you know, it’s apart of the Asian plan to conquer the world though **wink wink nudge nudge**).

It doesn’t mean much to me.

Just write lol.

Meaning behind “Nobody’s Perfect” by Destiny Hope Cyrus.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

“Everybody makes mistakes”

The song starts.  A former attendant of TPC (the abbreviation for The People’s Church), a Church belonging to the Southern Baptist Convention in Nashville TN, Destiny, now known as “Miley”, makes a philosophical statement in her song.

“It might be crazy; I do it anyway”

What she says is echoing the Apostle Paul’s statement where he says:

“I do what I don’t want to do; but I don’t do what I want to do.  For when I try to do what I want to do, I can’t; but rather, do what I do not want to do.”

- Romans 7:14-15

He is of course, explaining the inherent nature of what we know today, as “Sin”.

“If I’m not doing so well; why be so hard on myself.”

Modern Christian theologians have widely agreed that the worth of a person is not on what they do (“who” they are), but rather what they believe in (“whose” they are).  This belief in inherent dignity can be expounded in the analogy of a hundred dollar note.  No matter how much I pound the hundred dollar note, step on it, flush it down the toilet, its inherent value still remains at $100.  Go to any store, and that is the value you are offered.  This is because the creator of the change valued the note at $100.  The definition was provided by its creator.  Furthermore, if it attempted to be anything else other than its intended creation, for instance, if you tried to use it as toilet paper… It’s utility is, well, let’s say, not as useful as it could be!  Thus, it follows, all things being equal, that since our value is determined by the fact that God created us and loves us :) It doesn’t at all depend on what I do, but what God has done.  So yes indeed, I shouldn’t “be so hard on myself”!

“Again and again and again and again”

I really like this statement because it indicates to the listener this idea of hyperimprovement.  An important part of the Product Development Life Cycle in Engineering is this idea of hyperimprovement.  This is how the latest and greatest technologies are invented.

“No problem can’t be solved”

The inherent nature of God is his invincibility; I mean, the fact that he can do all things.  As the BIble says, “All things are possible through God“, who makes them possible!  It still surprises me the correlation between the greatest inventors in the world in the past (Edison, etc etc), and their faith (in God!).  But… correlation does not equate causation **winks** LOL!

“If things don’t turn out the way you plan, don’t stay down… try again!!!!”

The Apostle Paul (the greatest missionary in Christianity) was once greeted with persecutors who beat him, he was shipwrecked, he was starved, etc etc, and this was a lot to deal with for a great Jewish lawyer of his day!  As he says though, nothing could stop him from the prize that Christ Jesus had prepared for him at the end :)

As Hilary Duff says

“BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!”

Sorry I’ve wanted to do this all my life, see what I look like with H Duff :)

Yeah it’s pretty hot LOL!

My embarassing Bratz story leak.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

Today, the most embarassing occured!

Whilst in class, my Bratz perfume fell out of my bag, and an Indian friend of mine picked it up, and in front of all of my class mates, stated:

Oh, is this yours.

Instantly, the class turned around, and saw it was a Bratz perfume.

Well, I like the smell of it.

…I stated!

Well, at least it’s not as embarassing as some of the other publicity leaks I’ve had!

Is home schooling a good option.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

When Miles went through year five, because her dad (Billy R Cyrus) was filming TV series Doc, they moved up to Toronto (Canada), and her mom soon moved the family up there cuz they missed their dad.

Anyway, for that one year in year five she was homeschooled by her mom.

I’ve always thought it was a good idea, and there you have empirical evidence :)

Jesus became like Nemo.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

I remember once being provided an anology by a pastor, that when Jesus came down to earth, it was LITERALLY like he became a fish.  Imagine that humans are all fish.  He was formerly all God; but now He was all God, and all man.  He sacrificed much coming down to earth, and “emptied himself“.  And we were like fish, stuck seeing the world right in front of them, stuck swimming in circles; never running outside of the bowl, finding Nemo adventures.

Truly amazing.

Where is my limit?

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

I sometimes wonder whether I have limits, like as in, how far can I go?  Even with no competitors, can I make my own Olympic Game to ensure I achieve the best I can?

Miley has this heart condition which is known as Tachycardia, which is where the heart rate speeds up, and the rest of the body can’t keep up.  Although it isn’t life threatening, it acts as her limit.

Sometimes, I’ve thought what my limit is.  Like, whether after studying law, accounting, engineering, medicine… MAYBE, I mean just MAYBE, I might consider stopping lol???

I don’t know, but God is my strength!!!

Smoking eventually needs to be, just, well, banned.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

It’s an unevitable future for the tobacco industry, but the application of tobacco is simply not good enough in the arena of smoking.  Maybe there is an alternative medical placement that tobacco can move to?  I recently met some kids (age 9-13) who were smoking, and I asked them why they were doing it, because it would cause cancer.

No it doesn’t

- They applied with absolute assurance

The issue with cigarettes is once you’re hooked on to them, you can’t get off.  It is a biological process that occurs with a chemical in tobacco that causes such addiction.  So much for the “correlation does not equate causation” argument that tobacco companies tried to use in the 1800’s.  Not only are the individual impacts of smoking negative, but more importantly, the social impact of smoking is negative.

Although causing a long list of caninogeic diseases as a result of the multitude of dangerous chemicals breathed into the body, but it also acts as an driving force in child deliquency towards a life of crime.  The closest analogy in engineering would probably be an electrical transformer, that causes an ongoing cycle from a small habit to being a grave social danger.  Furthermore, the benefits of smoking are minimal.  Other than to satisfy the need for the addiction, it causes laxation.  But there are alternative medicines that can achieve this same result.

The Jonas Brothers have recently put on a publicity campaign along other Disney Christians (Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Aly & AJ Michalka – basically, Disney’s front line of celebrities) to make it clear to young children that smoking, alongside drugs, drinking is not “cool“, and it doesn’t make you a “rock star“.

Even though Miley’s grandpa died from asbetstos and not smoking, she knows what it’s like to have lung cancer.  As she says, smoking is like smashing your guitar and expecting to play it…. pure stupidity!!!  Parties are about getting your face smashed in a cake – not getting “smashed”.  Miley also doesn’t drink, neither do the Jonas Brothers, and it’s something I respect :)

It’s only going to be time though, that smoking is eventually, well, banned – except for use under a rock.

Why it’s pretty cool to be a celebrity.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

Sure there are different classes of celebrities, and some probably more tokenistic than substantial **coff coff Paris Hilton coff coff**, but I was recently speaking to a few mates conducting a bit of a Chicago School style sociology study into the area of celebrity theory, and influence can be cool in so many ways.

I have yet to see a quantitative method study style in the area of celebrity theory, but just in terms of influence, The Walt Disney Company has most recently been in the fore front of just some of the amazing influences Christians can have in the sphere of entertainment.  Starting off with symbolic interactionism in the area of what has become known as “purity rings”, coming up from the land of the South, formerly criticized for its traditional views in the area of slavery, Baptist and Pentecostal Christians alike (mostly from the post-reformation arminian movement) have gained unprecedented access to children’s television through the Disney Channel.

In our post-modernistic world of pluralism, it has also been interesting to see evolutionists deferring to the right of belief of creationist.  In particular, as referenced most recently by Alyson Michalka (also Disney), stated:

[People came from] Monkey’s?  Umm, I don’t think so!

This was complemented with the remark from her sister (also Disney), Amanda Michalka, who noted that

They’re teaching that [evolution] in schools these days?

Even taking the classical school view of the celebrity theory, drawing from utilitarian and social contract theory which asks “why not?” rather than “why”, the idea that man is a calculating animal means that popularity/hedonistic influences from media Christians can have a profound effect on the course of their life.  By utility, this could ultimately reduce the net numbers of child offenders, and act as a social theory deterrent for crime, in view of the rational choice theory.

Applying the conflict theory, the Disney family adopts its own class, which is utility in the inclusion of children who may feel out of bound.

Alyson Stoner (Disney) is majoring in sociology, and will be doing research in this area, so I’m looking forward towards it, even if it never sees the day of light in the public eye!

Why Disney acquisition of ESPN was a grand idea.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

ESPN was developed by a Christian sports announcer, William Rasmussen.  Sold first to the Getty Oil Company, later resold to ABC Inc (Capital/Cities/ABC), the program is now broadcast in 14 languages in more than 150 countries.  Disney’s acquisition of ESPN was almost inevitable, with the dominant corporate position, particularly in its reach of the teenage male target market (which is actually very hard to reach).  Providing Disney with the ability to leverage advertisements and positive publicity for its related key market segments in teenage entertainment, sports is one of those areas that, is a necessity in life.  Whether it be soccer, tennis, rugby, or golf, sports as a form of entertainment has and will continue to be a dominant interest of various individuals worldwide.

The only issue these days for entertainment companies is the regulatory agencies, FCC (of the US).  No wonder Rupert Murdoch (News Ltd, Aus) moved the headquarters of News Ltd to the USA.  The other advantage is of course simply taxation; the US tax rates at 15% are nearly half of that of Aus at 30%.

It’s hard deciding between Stanford, Xerox, and MIT.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

Recently, I’ve been thinking about taking my GPA of 7 to companies to get a summer vacation job, but I’m having difficult deciding between which engineering design studio to work for.

The ones that have particularly caught my attention are:

  • SRI (Stanford Research Institute) International
  • PARC (Xerox Corporation Palo Alto Research Center)
  • MIT Media Lab

Not only are they all first class research institutions, but they have their claims to fame.

Stanford is also nearby to Palo Alto, and one of the most prestigious private co-ed Universities in the USA.  They have an excellent medical center, and has a distinguished faculty, including Nobel prize winners Milton Friedman (economics), U.S. Supreme Court Justices, and strangly enough… Tiger Woods!

Xerox was the company behind the first personal computer; the first graphical user interface; the first laser printer; and the Ethernet networking technology.  Based in Silicon Valley, this location would also be good for my transportation needs.

MIT, although based in Massachusetts on the other side of the US (North Eastern), is also well known particular for the computer sciences.  The Media Lab name is also fantasticaly attractive.

So there you see my dilemma.  By transport needs, it was going to be either Stanford or Xerox.  More recently Xerox has sold a technology to 3M, but it’s still awaiting to cross the chasm, so there I thought, SRI was probably the best choice.

However, I then had another friend who recommended Disney Research, which I thought would be particularly interesting considering my involvement with Disney’s other commercial interests, particularly in the area of film and radio.  Recently, I was so honored to talk with Raffay Hamid from Disney Research, who gave me a bit of a recommendation regarding the very secretive (but strategic!) Imagineering area of The Walt Disney Company.

I remain to see to it though, that I choose the best option for the indicia cards that I draw out.

Jackie Chan makes the Hongkongnese proud in his Mulan video.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

There’s not many music videos around these days where actualy Cantonese is used.  A lot of movie producers have fallen back to using Madarin, the official language of the People’s Republic of China.  Cantonese is of course the official language of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, of China.  After the take back in 1997, Kanton is producing less and less Cantonese, as free trade agreements mean that Hong Kong producers are trying to target the wider Chinese market.

That’s why Jackie Chan has made me proud in his new Mulan video, where he sings in Cantonese rather than Mandarin.

But you know…  I’m going to make my future Italian wife learn Cantonese… Muahahaha lol!!!

YouTube has finally gone full high definition.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 16, 2009

Formerly supported 1280×720, YouTube, the king of Internet video, has finally gone 1920×1080 full high definition!   This is a great leap forward for movie studios and other not-so big B-class celebrities (not referring to anyone in particular **pouts his mouth**) LOL!

This will be great for all those illegal Disney XD leaks:

But hey, everybody downloads illegal content off the Internet these days :)

(I do realize the irony of me stating that, as a Law major!)

Why I don’t like Joe Jonas that much!

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

So I think it’s awesome the fact that his dad is an ordained AOG (Pentecostal/Christian), formerly the senior pastor at Wyckoff AOG.

Wyckoff Assembly of God
139 Franklin Avenue
Wyckoff, NJ 07481

Even more cool is the fact that they’re all doing the purity ring thing so that kid’s get into saving themselves for marriage.

But there’s one very good reason why I don’t like Joe Jonas that much, and this picture tells all:

It’s because he looks a bit like me, and he’s breathing all over my to-be wife, Demi Lovato =( LOL!

Well at least I know they’re not doing it **sighs** … LOL!

Call me crazy, but check it out!

He’s not hotter than me………….. is he?

**Starts to feel a little bit insecure about actually ending up with his future wife**

… LOL!

Check me out.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

This is the funniest comedy sketch I’ve ever seen (and it’s family friendly!!!):

Well, what do you expect from the beautiful and Godly Ms Demi Lovato =)

I remember telling a friend recently:

You know how Demi Lovato said to Chad Dylan Cooper, “You think you’re so hot, but you’re so not

Do you think she’d say that to me if I asked her out lol?

Well the awkward thing is; I sort of did do that……………………….

Okay now do a cross-comparison:

Yeah I could imagine us together **giggles**.

I’m twenty, yet so teeny!  **shakes head**

What is Optics. And Photonics.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

The most common question I get is:

What is Optics & Photonics

This is actually a lot easier to answer than you think.  It really isn’t rocket surgery.  Okay, maybe chemistry is a little bit hard.  And integrodifferential mathematic equations are too.  And light is pretty strange because it has multiple properties.  **Rolls eyes**

Optics is a part of medicine that is to do with your eye.  Photonics is just a scientific word for eye.  In short, light is everywhere.  Any devices that has a camera, has a display, scans stuff; that uses light.  Even communication technologies such as mobile phones use light; but a part of the spectrum you cannot see with your visible eye!

As Lewis says in Meet The Robinsons:

The possibilities are endless!

Let’s just hope I’ll be the optical engineer to find a cure for cancer =)

Wow, I do have a big head!

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

So you’re a big fan of Disney Channel, and you have Sonny With A Chance (Demi Lovato, The Walt Disney Company).

Anyway, remember in Episode 1, when Sonny’s mom stated:

WOW! You have a big head.

And Demi replied:

I do not have a big head!

Then her mother stated:

No, I mean behind you.

And Demi conceded:

Wow, I do have a big head!

When I looked at this picture, I was like, WOW!  I do have a big head!

(Okay, that isn’t that big, but if you click on it, you will be like… WOW!!!!!)

What I’m gonna be doing this summer vacation.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

This summer, I will be… Finding my princess, fighting off the baddies, and saving her from the dragon!!!

Well, not really, I think the Phineas & Ferb opening title sequence (series from Disney XD Channel) just about sums it all up:

There’s 104 days of summer vacation
And school comes along just to end it
So the annual problem for our generation
Is finding a good way to spend it

Like maybe…

Building a rocket
Or fighting a mummy
Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower

Discovering something that doesn’t exist (Hey!)
Or giving a monkey a shower

Surfing tidal waves
Creating nanobots
Or locating Frankenstein’s brain (It’s over here!)

Finding a dodo bird
Painting a continent
Or driving your sister insane (Phineas!)

As you can see
There’s a whole lot of stuff to do
Before school starts this fall (Come on Perry)

So stick with us ’cause Phineas and Ferb
Are gonna do it all
So stick with us ’cause Phineas and Ferb are
Gonna do it all!
(Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!)

(Lyrics courtesy of this site)

Oh, and one more thing:

Dating Ashley Tisdale

She’s so funny on the series.

Let me see a cross-comparison of me and Ashley Tisdale:

From a fashionista perspective, the blonde does really offset my black hair really well =)  And, we would have really hot kids **pouts his mouth**!

My kid’s names.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

So recently I’ve been thinking about possible names I can give my hot little kids!  I can think of a lot more girl names than guy names, believe it or not!

For guys:

  • Angus Luke Shum
  • Timothy Shum

And for girls:

  • Brittany Faith Shum
  • Holly Shum (if twin, Hannah Shum)
  • Elizabeth Nevaeh Shum
  • Lydia Miley Shum
  • Rachel Shum

I was thinking about including Demi Shum, but that might have been strange; and my wife might not have liked that!

Tell me what you think!

My favorite Christian pop star.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

Hands and feet down, my favorite Christian pop star has got to be Jesse McCartney:

But take your pick, girls!

As Miley Cyrus says, it’s because though:

I’m just way to shallow to realize that girls go for something other than looks!

*pouts his mouth*

LOL!

My cheat sheet exposed.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

It’s official everybody.  I’m a cheat!

The great thing though, is that this is perfectly legitimate for studies in law =)  Which is great because my memory, is, well… let’s just say, it’s not much better than Ashlee Simpson’s!

Sorry Ashlee =(  What am I thinking, insulting a beloved sister in Christ!  Especially since her dad is a youth pastor.  **Slaps himself**

Anywho, thought I’d share my tactics in studying law with the world:

I have thought of introducing a law of my own though.

The law of love.

Awwwhh.

I finally graduated my first degree.

Posted by: Jeremy Shum on: November 15, 2009

It was a long hug, but like Demi Lovato says:

When life gives you lemons.

Make lemonade!

Here’s my lemonade =) !

And, I ate all the lemons =P
